Zi Iacchos is a new project, emerging from years of exploration in folk, psychedelic soundscapes, and ambient music. This marks the third cycle of my musical journey, now unfolding with a more fluid and evolving approach.

My approach to sound creation is centered around the interaction between acoustic guitar and modular synthesis, where each note becomes part of an evolving system of textures and resonances. Rather than following a predetermined structure, my setup allows for real-time transformations, where sound is shaped fluidly and organically.

By blending phasing, granular synthesis, and dynamic modulation, I explore the ways in which an acoustic instrument can extend beyond its natural timbre, interacting with modular processes that respond in a non-linear, evolving manner. The modular system serves as an extension of the instrument, not just processing the sound but expanding it into new dimensions.

This process is not about replacing or contrasting traditional electronic methods, but about creating a space where sound exists in a state of constant movement—formed in the moment, shaped by interaction, and always open to the unexpected.
